With an epic performance, Chanel won Benidormfest with her song “SloMo.” Originally not seen as much of a contender, Chanel’s performance elevated her entry and has created lasting buzz through the Eurovision season. 

Spain’s national final this year was jam packed with amazing acts, any of which would have been a huge improvement on Spain’s Eurovision entries from previous years. 

As one of the Big Five, Spain has a guaranteed spot in the final and also has been relegated to the bottom of the scoreboard for basically the past two decades.

Ursula’s Thoughts: While the song alone does not stand out to me a ton, Chanel is an incredibly talented performer. The way she dances, sings, and generally exists on stage is a sight to behold. 

Christa’s Thoughts: She is GORGEOUS. Her performance is LEGENDARY. Booty Hypnotic.
