Through an internal selection process, Bulgaria chose “Intention” by Intelligent Music Project. Why this song is called “Intention” and not “Safety Zone” remains to be seen. This group contains a number of seasoned professionals, some of which have participated in Eurovision previously.

Bulgaria will be performing in the first semi-final.

Ursula’s Thoughts: This song is catchy and frequently gets stuck in my head. However, its refrain “I’m never in the safety zone” just makes me think of the much better song, “Danger Zone.” Also, I don’t know why the music video includes a random kid playing a video game with a young woman avatar? 

Christa’s Thoughts: No thank you. The rehearsal lighting looks good though.
