Albania chose Besa and her song “Titan” through their national final back in December. Besa will perform 2nd in the second semifinal.

The song was originally performed as “Zemrën N’dorë” in Albanian, with a live orchestra and an impressive amount of cleavage. The official Eurovision revamp released with the music video ended up being entirely in English with some snazzy new styling and a horse!

When we are listening to this song, we both like it a fair amount, and from the live national final it seems like Besa is a capable performer. This entry feels like a very solid selection that probably would be much higher in a less strong year. The main issue is that, even though overall we enjoy the song, we just cannot remember it. It doesn’t have a particularly catchy or memorable melody. Hopefully the staging will elevate it and make it memorable – otherwise, given its early spot in the running order, this song will be passed over for other entries that can stick with the viewer more.
